Welcome to Link Up!, everyone! Congratulations on becoming a Persona user!

...Well, almost. That stuff will be available in Week 2, in which you're free to re-use this post for Week 2 plotting if you'd like. For now, though, make yourselves comfortable in your dorms, get to know your dorm mates, and take on some of those commissions for some loot!

Blurb: Shizuki Soujuurou is a young man who recently moved to Misaki City after leaving his home of sixteen years in the mountains! An unassuming, average young man who's biggest idiosyncrasies seem to be that he's just so out with the times. What's a fork? He doesn't know.

Other than that, he's a kind soul who will always be trying to help others, even if that often means getting into trouble himself or accidentally pissing other people off.

Plotting: Soujuurou will be... trying to do as many of the commissions as he can icly and oocly! While he may be a fish out of water in an even MORE modern society, he figures that the importance of money has not dwindled. In other words, he'll be trying to clean the streets, draw, learn how to play games... and honestly, he might model too. He's got the body for it. He would love to make friends while doing any of these tasks!

Seeking: For now, I'm looking for either friendly or (mostly) one-way antagonistic. Soujuurou will never try to antagonize anyone and is so straightforward and simple minded that it hurts, so it'd be funny to see others get frustrated with him.

The only things Soujuurou doesn't really like that much are dogs and wolves, but he won't try to pick a fight over it. He would like no fighting please 😔

Blurb: As noted in my intro he's a fucking nerd. He likes tinkering and research and will be digging into all the new and different tech and culture and whatever else here. Cram is an S-ranked machinarian back home, which is essentially like a cross between an archaeologist, an engineer and a soldier. He's not a very good soldier, though. Cronos is the AI in his big ol' mecha yaoi hand and is generally a polite but situationally sassy butler-type who will (politely!) flirt with any girl in the vicinity when he isn't being a research butler. Don't mind the talking face.

Plotting: They're going to be somewhat discombobulated honestly but since there's plenty to explore and one of their specialities is gathering info, it's time for Team C&C to get to work. Their focus will most likely be Cleanup and PVP but they can likely do Leave Your Mark, too.

Plotting: Frieren will want to do every commission because that's the RPG hero in her (it's what the [redacted] would've done), so she'll gladly team up with anyone who wants to do those things with her! Though she can't do it all with magic now so please excuse her being much slower with it, bye... Also for anyone who wants to go-kart with her, she'd do that too! No idea how that one works. Except now it's worse because I'm yoinking her from the instant she ran away from home after finally standing up to said mother, which means that she is quite literally a wet cat out in the rain. Literally she is going to be standing outside in the very first intro bit soaked from rain and without shoes because it's implied she forgot to put them on in her rush. Have fun with the resident sad bunny everyone.

Plotting: For the commissions my thoughts are as followed:

LEAVE YOUR MARK Mafuyu's going to draw a pitch-black tree with a single red (heart-shaped) apple hanging from the branches and I think it'd be cute if people added their own apples to it that is all.

I want exactly one thread of someone helping her out in the initial intro since she's showing up in dire straights. But ONLY one because otherwise it is A LOT!!!! Especially since she's showing up, as I said, soaked from rain and missing her shoes (she is otherwise in a proper school uniform + black cardigan). You can either grab this here or it's first come first serve on the eventual TL.

She's also going to be asking for help with her OG phone as it is suffering SEVERE water damage and this is distressing to her. Help :(

Going to be my first foray into DWRP in a long while so my tagging speed is likely to be super inconsistent and Tuesday nights I'll be completely unavailable, but otherwise as long as I'm not at work (hi i work retail evenings!) Blurb: Known as a Super High School Level Idol, Sayaka embodies what all idols should aspire to be; a bright, warm disposition, a friendly nature, and a deep desire to pursue her dreams. There's admittedly not a whole lot to her underneath, and she almost feels hollow and awkward at times...but she's still going to do her best to try and pretend everything is okay and adapt accordingly.

Plotting: ALRIGHT SO. I'll be making a top level, but some keypoints:

- So Sayaka is. Not going to take her arrival well, initially. Especially given that she's going to be waking up with the very weapon that killed her on her person, she is probably going to be hilariously on edge to start, so she's. Going to kind of be freefalling until she can get her bearings, if anyone wants to help with that.
- Once she's done having an existential crisis, though, Sayaka's going to force on the idol happy face and get to work! I'm most interested in the cleanup commission (a nice way to get to know others if anyone wants to help her, sayaka cannot abide by mess), and one will almost certainly find her doodling on the canvas too.
- I'm 50/50 on if I'll have her take the modeling gig; if anyone wants to do something with this let me know, but this will probably brush up on some Idol Industry bullshit mentioned in her opt out, if you wanna check that out!
- Probably not gonna sign up for go-karts but if someone wants to drag Sayaka onto one I can!!!

Plotting: What does Eli plan on doing? He is immediately leaving. That's right. He isn't going to stay for the party, he's going to go lurking around town to see if there's a way out. It'll be weird to see a fully functioning modern city, although the moody vibes are still spot-on to what he's used to.

Feel free to join him in his bid to find a way the fuck outta here, he'll begrudgingly allow it.

He's usually pretty vague on who he is and his own past, because what truly matters is what he stands for. Dark Knights harness their internal negative feelings in order to become stronger - but they do this entirely to protect others and Fray is no exception. He's definitely not the easiest to get along with, but he'll fight for everyone regardless. Also he really doesn't like sidequests for some reason. Guess who's stuck in sidequest hell now!

Plotting:

Fray may not like sidequests, but he'll be pretty easy to drag into most of them. Since he's going to want to explore the city, cleaning up trash is an easy one. The only one that won't really work is top models, as Fray is not removing his armor, so. Y'know. Can't really model clothes with armor on. Most of the others will require some level of being dragged into it - Fray's no Pictomancer, after all - but he'll go along if you ask for help, etc!

What Fray's really interested in is sparring or teaching - if you have a weapon you're not familiar with, he'd be happy to help out. Fray is actually a pretty good mentor figure if you need one; so if you want a training arc to use that new weapon, we can work something out there!

Generally I'm down for literally everything, but Fray will require someone to rope him into things. I would love to do go-karts as well if anyone wants a guy in a suit of armor to sit there like ??? with them!!

Seeking: Everything and anything; as I mentioned above, Fray can be a good mentor and I'd love to explore that! Alternatively, someone who will drag him into shenanigans 24/7. Please pester him. It'll be funny. But generally, anything goes - positive, negative, ??? CR is all good!

Plotting: McGillis is going to arrive in a bloody pilot suit and he'll be slightly less hinged than usual for the first few hours being here. After that he will transform into a very put-together practical man you can rely on :D

He's going to be participating in all commissions because he needs to take his mind off things and also needs money. All of them are pretty good prompts for him to get some CR-building in, too. He'll be kind of mentally absent during trash collecting, fight maybe a little dirty during competition, and he'll draw birds. Because duh, birds. They rule.

kururu has an extremely tolerant and sweet demeanor that allows her to bounce off just about any kind of personality with ease. some of her favorite people are the definition of chaos—both in the d&d and literal sense—so you don't have to worry about scaring her off. she's also Very Technology Savvy; of course she has been debuffed for the game but sometimes you Just Understand how machines and aerodynamics work and can't explain why that is. (though i, naru, do not know shit about such things so please be kind to me.)

Plotting:
i don't know if i'll come up with a top level addressing everything that i wanna do (i am only able to write so much) but some of the things that i do want to do from an ooc perspective is take part in all of the commissions aside from the PVP one, have some fun with the arts and crafts for the welcome party, and i've signed up for the go-karts already. i put down rng bc i like to live dangerously but if you want to partner up then lmk!

coming from an ic perspective, i wouldn't call kururu an introvert but she might need a little push before fully interacting with anyone. sometimes you're a people watcher and that's okay.

Blurb: Vampire. Acrobat. Serial pot-stirrer. Government assigned knifecat. French.

He's a baby by vampire standards, but old by human standards, so that puts him in kind of a weird mental place. Luckily, he likes being in weird places. Generally outgoing and fully intends on doing all the commissions whether they're fun or not, so if you need someone to partner up with, he'll definitely be around! Buuuut he may try to get a rise out of you. For fun.

May also try to snack on you, so like, let me know if your character would be into that.

Plotting: Depending on when I crashland into the event, I may or may not put up a toplevel, but I do plan on tagging around, so if you absolutely want him anywhere with your bean, please let me know and I'll keep an eye out (or do a toplevel for us!). As far as event specifics, though, here's what he'll be up to by default:

⧽ Welcome Party: Oh he'll be here and he'll be vibing. He loves to people watch, so that'll be priority number one for him, but he's also very easy to pull into shenanigans and will play games if invited. If left to his own devices (especially on later days as people start to settle in), he'll also be practicing his ~circus skills~ because being here is no excuse to get rusty, so acrobatics, contortionist, and cyr wheel displays are all fair game if that's something you want to observe/participate in!

⧽ Exploring/Cleanup: Exploring will also be a pretty big priority because, you know, gotta get the lay of the land if he's going to be stuck here a while, and with cleaning up as a job, he'll be idly doing that while he does. He is not likely to keep random bits and bobs unless they seem like they're valuable, though (recyclable metals count...), so if you want to swoop in and save something neat from the trash, be my guest.

⧽ Go-Karts: Yes. 100000% Yes. He'll try to win, sure, but his main priority will be not losing, because, you know, gotta watch the reactions of both the winners and the losers. He is from a modern setting, and does know how to drive a car, though, if anyone needs help with that aspect!

⧽ Top Model: Have you seen him? Now you have. He'll participate in this as many times as they want him to/will let him, and will gladly pair up with anyone since they want multiples. Can't pose? No worries, he'll either help or pose around your awkward ass and make it work, it's fine, get your bag. (If the cranky photographer is intimidating/scary to anyone small and cute, he'll also try to take the heat for them, if that's an angle you'd want instead!)

⧽ PVP: So. He has a whip as his weapon. He's never... used one before. It's a finesse/dexterity based weapon, so he'll pick it up relatively quickly, but until he does, there will be practice. And loud noises. And possibly near-misses. Aside from weapons-based pvp, he can be a vector for negative cr if you want your character to be negged about anything, and is the infuriating kind of bitch who will laugh and backflip away from a punch thrown at him instead of just taking it and fighting back.

But also, like. Cute games are also good here, too.

⧽ Mark/Decorating: So. There's glitter. Grumpy assholes are perfect targets for lidless jars of glitter. Just sayin.

Seeking: Anything goes! He's a bit cagey, but generally pleasant, so baseline positive cr is easy, but deeper connections are difficult. He's also got some gremlin tendencies and is a knifecat, so negative cr is also very easy! And I'm game for however things shake out!

He's also a member of the True Order, though he's not as devout as some and largely operates independently, though the leader did give him a deck of cards that houses an entity that empowers Jeno and his magic... Also his village might be from an alien race? Or a fallen samurai clan? They gave me more questions than answers in their event.

Plotting: Befriend everyone and just treat this as another idol work. It's fine, he's isekai'd into a world where he had fire fists before, he just changed elements.
