Welcome to Link Up!, everyone! Congratulations on becoming a Persona user!

...Well, almost. That stuff will be available in Week 2, in which you're free to re-use this post for Week 2 plotting if you'd like. For now, though, make yourselves comfortable in your dorms, get to know your dorm mates, and take on some of those commissions for some loot!

Blurb: Argenti is a devout follower of Idrila, the Aeon of Beauty, and showcases this by taking up the mantle as a Knight of Beauty. As a result, he can be rather chivalrous, though very...let us say, out there. He's one of a kind, he will yap your head off and be super weird about his faith. But also he is a ray of sunlight who is bound to freak people out or wonder why he is like this!!

Plotting:

I plan on throwing up a top-level with some prompts and some of the commissions, as well as getting him involved in a go-kart.

Canon: Mahoutsukai no Yoru
Blurb: Shizuki Soujuurou is a young man who recently moved to Misaki City after leaving his home of sixteen years in the mountains! An unassuming, average young man who's biggest idiosyncrasies seem to be that he's just so out with the times. What's a fork? He doesn't know.

Other than that, he's a kind soul who will always be trying to help others, even if that often means getting into trouble himself or accidentally pissing other people off.

Plotting: Soujuurou will be... trying to do as many of the commissions as he can icly and oocly! While he may be a fish out of water in an even MORE modern society, he figures that the importance of money has not dwindled. In other words, he'll be trying to clean the streets, draw, learn how to play games... and honestly, he might model too. He's got the body for it. He would love to make friends while doing any of these tasks!

Seeking: For now, I'm looking for either friendly or (mostly) one-way antagonistic. Soujuurou will never try to antagonize anyone and is so straightforward and simple minded that it hurts, so it'd be funny to see others get frustrated with him.

The only things Soujuurou doesn't really like that much are dogs and wolves, but he won't try to pick a fight over it. He would like no fighting please 😔

You know the peppy extrovert character type whenever you need an introvert excuse to thread? He's more like "character interaction (threat)" (if you don't comply).

Plotting: He will do all the commissions and will most likely drag the other character into doing it (aka me tagging into your top level etc).

Canon: Machina of the Planet Tree -Planet Ruler-
Blurb: As noted in my intro he's a fucking nerd. He likes tinkering and research and will be digging into all the new and different tech and culture and whatever else here. Cram is an S-ranked machinarian back home, which is essentially like a cross between an archaeologist, an engineer and a soldier. He's not a very good soldier, though. Cronos is the AI in his big ol' mecha yaoi hand and is generally a polite but situationally sassy butler-type who will (politely!) flirt with any girl in the vicinity when he isn't being a research butler. Don't mind the talking face.

Plotting: They're going to be somewhat discombobulated honestly but since there's plenty to explore and one of their specialities is gathering info, it's time for Team C&C to get to work. Their focus will most likely be Cleanup and PVP but they can likely do Leave Your Mark, too.

Plotting: i'll be doing a tl, but these are what i'm most interested in:

→arts & crafts: what a better way to bond than getting creative? she'll be inviting people to join in making some nametags or decorations for their rooms. gotta spice up the place, after all! i'll work in the leave your mark commission into this as well, probably!
→exploring: she likes to explore, even if the scenery isn't the best, so i'd be down for some exploration buddies! i'll probably loop in the cleanup commission into this prompt as well.
→top models: let's do some summer modeling!!! aerith will be all about getting in some cute shots and being creative with it, so come have fun with her!
→also, i plan on signing her up for go-karts, for anyone looking for a partner! she's just doing it for fun, but the cash bonus for winning would also be very nice

Plotting: Frieren will want to do every commission because that's the RPG hero in her (it's what the [redacted] would've done), so she'll gladly team up with anyone who wants to do those things with her! Though she can't do it all with magic now so please excuse her being much slower with it, bye... Also for anyone who wants to go-kart with her, she'd do that too! No idea how that one works. Where is the horse. Someone please teach her, save her, she doesn't know what kids are into these da

Besides that, she'll be generally exploring and getting acquainted with everything! Everything around is wayyyyy out of her comfort zone, which is not a feeling she's not used to, but. You know.

Blurb: Mafuyu is at a glance the perfect girl- sweet, friendly, even-tempered, talented at everything she does with little effort, humble and helpful. However, she's actually deeply depressed, struggling under the weight of everyone's expectations of her, and dealing with her mother's emotional and mental abuse. Except now it's worse because I'm yoinking her from the instant she ran away from home after finally standing up to said mother, which means that she is quite literally a wet cat out in the rain. Literally she is going to be standing outside in the very first intro bit soaked from rain and without shoes because it's implied she forgot to put them on in her rush. Have fun with the resident sad bunny everyone.

Plotting: For the commissions my thoughts are as followed:

LEAVE YOUR MARK Mafuyu's going to draw a pitch-black tree with a single red (heart-shaped) apple hanging from the branches and I think it'd be cute if people added their own apples to it that is all.

CLEAN UP Naturally, she will help with this! Help her out!!

TOP MODELS PLEASE drag her into this i think it would be funny

PVP ENABLED this is another thing you'd have to drag her into (sports preferred) but this would let her show off her natural athleticism which is fun :D

OTHERWISE...

I want exactly one thread of someone helping her out in the initial intro since she's showing up in dire straights. But ONLY one because otherwise it is A LOT!!!! Especially since she's showing up, as I said, soaked from rain and missing her shoes (she is otherwise in a proper school uniform + black cardigan). You can either grab this here or it's first come first serve on the eventual TL.

She's also going to be asking for help with her OG phone as it is suffering SEVERE water damage and this is distressing to her. Help :(

Otherwise Mafuyu can be dragged into anything because she is frankly kind of a doormat and will help out just 'cause. Make her draw stupid shit. Make her model with you she's very pretty. If she's not ker-dragged she will try to keep to herself otherwise. Shrugs.

Going to be my first foray into DWRP in a long while so my tagging speed is likely to be super inconsistent and Tuesday nights I'll be completely unavailable, but otherwise as long as I'm not at work (hi i work retail evenings!) I should be p. good to go in the late morning to afternoon and somewhat in the evening!

Character: Sayaka Maizono.
Canon: Dangan Ronpa.
Blurb: Known as a Super High School Level Idol, Sayaka embodies what all idols should aspire to be; a bright, warm disposition, a friendly nature, and a deep desire to pursue her dreams. There's admittedly not a whole lot to her underneath, and she almost feels hollow and awkward at times...but she's still going to do her best to try and pretend everything is okay and adapt accordingly.

Plotting: ALRIGHT SO. I'll be making a top level, but some keypoints:

- So Sayaka is. Not going to take her arrival well, initially. Especially given that she's going to be waking up with the very weapon that killed her on her person, she is probably going to be hilariously on edge to start, so she's. Going to kind of be freefalling until she can get her bearings, if anyone wants to help with that.
- Once she's done having an existential crisis, though, Sayaka's going to force on the idol happy face and get to work! I'm most interested in the cleanup commission (a nice way to get to know others if anyone wants to help her, sayaka cannot abide by mess), and one will almost certainly find her doodling on the canvas too.
- I'm 50/50 on if I'll have her take the modeling gig; if anyone wants to do something with this let me know, but this will probably brush up on some Idol Industry bullshit mentioned in her opt out, if you wanna check that out!
- Probably not gonna sign up for go-karts but if someone wants to drag Sayaka onto one I can!!!

Seeking: Anything! Honestly, I'm game for any CR, and especially anything that's willing to challenge Sayaka's way of thinking and try to like. Make her an actual human person. Please help her, she learned how to be a person solely from TV--

Plotting: What does Eli plan on doing? He is immediately leaving. That's right. He isn't going to stay for the party, he's going to go lurking around town to see if there's a way out. It'll be weird to see a fully functioning modern city, although the moody vibes are still spot-on to what he's used to.

Feel free to join him in his bid to find a way the fuck outta here, he'll begrudgingly allow it.

Other than that, he'll be doing:
- The PVP Enabled commission for sure; i am extra terrible at writing combat but let's do it anyway that's how we improve right cries.
