Welcome to Link Up!, everyone! Congratulations on becoming a Persona user!

...Well, almost. That stuff will be available in Week 2, in which you're free to re-use this post for Week 2 plotting if you'd like. For now, though, make yourselves comfortable in your dorms, get to know your dorm mates, and take on some of those commissions for some loot!

Dark Knight mentor for the Warrior of Light, Fray is a mysterious man always clad in full armor. He's usually pretty vague on who he is and his own past, because what truly matters is what he stands for. Dark Knights harness their internal negative feelings in order to become stronger - but they do this entirely to protect others and Fray is no exception. He's definitely not the easiest to get along with, but he'll fight for everyone regardless. Also he really doesn't like sidequests for some reason. Guess who's stuck in sidequest hell now!

Plotting:

Fray may not like sidequests, but he'll be pretty easy to drag into most of them. Since he's going to want to explore the city, cleaning up trash is an easy one. The only one that won't really work is top models, as Fray is not removing his armor, so. Y'know. Can't really model clothes with armor on. Most of the others will require some level of being dragged into it - Fray's no Pictomancer, after all - but he'll go along if you ask for help, etc!

What Fray's really interested in is sparring or teaching - if you have a weapon you're not familiar with, he'd be happy to help out. Fray is actually a pretty good mentor figure if you need one; so if you want a training arc to use that new weapon, we can work something out there!

Generally I'm down for literally everything, but Fray will require someone to rope him into things. I would love to do go-karts as well if anyone wants a guy in a suit of armor to sit there like ??? with them!!

Seeking: Everything and anything; as I mentioned above, Fray can be a good mentor and I'd love to explore that! Alternatively, someone who will drag him into shenanigans 24/7. Please pester him. It'll be funny. But generally, anything goes - positive, negative, ??? CR is all good!
Not looking for: Taking the armor off. The armor stays on. (For now??) But seriously, I'm fine with anything, so!

These two should definitely end up sparring together. Just recalling how down to fight Argenti happens to be in canon.

Also, if he can be roped into go-karts, we should definitely have them do it because Argenti can and will drag him into it (for IDRILA)(????) Knights go-karting let's go!!!

i cannot believe someone put niigo kaito into a suit of armor and gave him a weapon

by which i mean mafuyu might be quiet at first but hes going to remind him of her sekai's version of kaito (angry, tired of being nice, cannot manifest to beat your problems to death for you but by god he'll get you to confront them at least) so she might actually like him
