Welcome to our last two weeks, everyone! Thank you so much for the amazing ride. The mod team is incredibly appreciative of all of you for sticking with us and making the most of our little game.

The schedule for next week is as follows:

Saturday, 10/26 - Sunday, 10/27: Mod-run CYOA portions begin

CYOAs will likely run for around 4-6 hours on Saturday, and will continue into Sunday. If you have any scheduling difficulties and cannot make your assigned group, please let your respective mod know and we can try to place you in a different group! Otherwise, we ask that all players stick to their assigned groups.

Monday, 10/28 - Thursday, 10/31: Final fight
Fight will be done in phases. Phases will go up ~every 3 hours from 6pm EST to 12am each day. Each phase will have a few rounds before moving to the next phase. There will also be a phase posted at 12pm the following day. You do not need to be here for every round, just show up when you are able to! We are intentionally spreading this out to allow time for everyone to participate at least a few times.

Hi everyone, welcome to October! Everyone has cleared AC, congrats! As we've said before, this is the final month of the game. We're almost at the finish line and will be moving into endgame content! Some housekeeping announcements first before we go into the important part of this announcement - planning for endgame.

AC Results

Here are the requirements for October's AC, which will be due by October 20th, 11:59PM EST.

Base AC: A check-in comment under your AC toplevel
Bonus AC: Half AC of 10 comments across 2 threads OR a three to four line write-up outlining your character's arc throughout Link Up.

Submitting both base and bonus AC will give you an AC boon of a random battle recovery item (i.e. Full Heal or Status Recovery) once we have verified your bonus AC.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Please make sure you are available to at least tag around during endgame week (10/26-11/2). You don't need to be around for the entirety of endgame as it will run through the entire week, but we will be tailoring some content to fit everyone's characters for the final phase of the game. If you believe there may be issues with your availability, please let us know so we can take that into account.

Kirumi Tojo's Palace Sign-ups

Well, it's time! Let's see how this goes, alright? Kirumi Tojo is trapped in a palace! And, unfortunately for her, it's going to unveil all she hoped to hide from everybody, and what she was hiding from herself all this time.

Let's do it!

▾ There is a limit of 10 participants. Not twelve, ten.
▾ If more than 10 people sign up, the participants will be randomized, for fairness.
▾ Sign ups will close on Sunday, September 29th at 10 PM EST. That means there's about 36 hours to sign up.
▾ The palace's opening post will go up on the early morning of Monday, September 30th.
▾ This is an exploration-focused palace, where characters will perform tasks and answer questions. There will be combat peppered through it, depending on how the characters handle the challenges within. There also will be, of course, a final battle at the end of the palace.
▾ All dice rolls will be done on the Discord channel for dice rolls. Characters are also encouraged to perform tasks according to how well the character would do at it.
▾ In battle, the success or failure of any given attack will be defined with the usual 1-10 = miss, 11-20 = success.
▾ Given this is an exploration-focused palace, there may be responses given quickly. That said, in the channel for the palace you'll be informed of me (Nick's) availability and status, for the sake of keeping everybody informed. My availability usually is from 8 AM EST to 1 AM EST, with short times of unavailability throughout the week.
▾ Content warnings that will occur during the Palace: grievous harm and murder. It's Danganronpa, after all! But also there's a warning for drowning. The themes will be warned on the title of the tag when they happen.

▾ Atem's palace occurs in-game on Sunday, September 29th, as well as out-of-character at 1 PM EDT.

Argenti's Palace (Sign Ups)

Welcome to the beginning of the ḙ̴̛͕̦̩̻̾͐̋̀̀̓̐͂̾̓̓͆̾̚͜͝nd. The prologue to Argenti's palace.

🌹 This will occur ICly on September 15th (9/15), as well as be begin on that date OOCly at 12 PM EST.
🌹 This will be limited to twelve (12) people.
🌹 There will be two exploration phases and a two-part battle phase.
🌹 If more than twelve people sign up, it will be up to the goddess Idrila (lol) who ends up in the final roster (I kid, I will choose some based upon CR, and RNG the rest.)
🌹 I tag in EST, with availability off and on from 12PM to 11pm Sun-Fri. The entire palace will be completed no later than 11:59 PM EST on 9/20 (Friday, September 20th), with the intention to last for five days maximum, though it could end sooner than that.
🌹 Warnings or themes in general may ensue for heavy violence/death, heavy religious themes/symbolism, mild horror-adjacent aspects, and self-sacrifice...and if there are other are matters that end up being warning-worthy, it will be tagged for.
🌹 If you will not be around for a given round or are tapping out for awhile/for round(s), please give me a heads up in chat (pinging is the best way to get my attention.)

Schedule Announcement: 9/14-9/20 + More!

As Izou's Palace wraps up, we want to say you everyone for an exciting week of Palaces, and thank you especially to Dani, Caitie, and Ray for their fantastic work!

Two things:
1) Jordi is dead, meaning that he is officially dropped from the game. Please look forward to Ray's second character! Additionally, a player-run funeral for Jordi + meeting will go up at 2pm EST tomorrow, 9/7. This will be eligible for player event rewards.

2) Here is your Palace schedule for the week of 9/14! Keep an eye out for those hints!

Hello everyone! We heard some of you discussing in Discord about wanting to add additional items to the gacha, so we are allowing everyone the chance to submit an additional two gacha regain items if you are interested!

Simply leave a comment on this post in the same format (Item name - Short description) as what you posted in your apps and we will add them to the regain pool.

This mechanic is completely optional - we will still be giving out duplicate items once our first round of gacha regains have been exhausted.

AC Rewards and Character Regains

We severely underestimated the enthusiasm everyone had for character regain rewards in this recent AC cycle, and our regains pool is close to depleting, so we are implementing a couple of changes below:

- We will be giving out duplicate rewards for existing items in the gacha once we have exhausted this first round of gacha regains. The IC explanation is that Braphine has figured out how to replicate your items from home. What's better than items from home? Multiple items from home!
- For subsequent AC cycles, we will still implement the tiered rewards for 2 social link writeups vs. 3 or more social link writeups. However, instead of giving multiple character gacha regain rewards, we will adjust it so that maxing out social link writeups net you 1 character gacha regain reward, plus an additional unique monthly benefit that is effective once AC is processed. We are still discussing the rewards, so they will be announced on the AC post and on Discord one week before AC is due!

Housekeeping
- Reminder that commissions are valid only for one month from the date they were posted (i.e. the log date!)
- Our next Palaces will go up the week of 14 September so watch out for an announcement here for hints on the next runners!

You find yourself in historical Kyoto at night. The city is shadowy and beautiful, elegant but hostile. It's a sophisticated city, but you don't belong there and it knows it. Everyone knows it. You are being watched.

Worst of all, a terrible demon haunts the streets of this powerful capital city.

NOTES

The cap for this palace will be EIGHT participants
If more than eight people sign up, participants will be rnged from those that signed up.
I am in EST, the palace will include 3 phases of exploration and one boss fight at the end!
The slated time limit for the palace is 5 days! The first phase of exploration will begin tomorrow, Sunday Sep 1st at 12PM
Exploration and turns will be coordinated via a channel in the discord server
Unless otherwise stated, most rolls will operate on the 1-10 = fail and 11-20 = pass system, with players able to get bonuses to their rolls if they can justify the advantage with their actions.

Schedule Announcement: 8/31-9/6

Hey everyone! We're doing a special announcement: We will be announcing upcoming Palaces the week before they happen. We won't be revealing Palace owners right off the bat, as they'll be dropping some IC hints regarding their identities.

Here is your schedule with Palaces for the week of 8/31-9/6:

Saturday: 🍆 (FFA, starts 3PM EST)
Sunday: 🏮 (Capped, begins at noon EST; signups on Saturday at 10am EST)
Wednesday: 🕯️ (FFA, starts noon EST)

Free-for-all Palaces will have signups when their logs go up and people can funnel in as the log goes on.
