Aubrey really didn't know what she was getting into just by calling Mafuyu weird, haha. Still, the first day was horrible for her considering gestures at Basil stuff, so being able to just draw some bunnies and then pet a bunny was a nice opportunity to just, like... cool off after all that.

Aubrey's palace was naturally the start of a real shift in their relationship; it was then that Aubrey began to realize that she had something of a kindred spirit in Mafuyu, even if their mothers and the direction of their lives went in complete opposite directions. She became protective of Mafuyu, because the older girl has, quite frankly, been through enough shit as it is, and if nothing else Aubrey's tough enough to weather a physical beatdown.

Learning about Mafuyu's music was a surprise in its own way, but she really did appreciate it. She probably still listens to it in her world to this day, because even if she can no longer understand the words, she doesn't need to in order to relate. It's a nice reminder of the others out there like Mafuyu and her friends, all just fighting to find their own happiness whether society approves of them or not.

She's really quite proud of how far Mafuyu came along by the end, and she'll never forget their night out on the town. You can bet she'll drop by to visit and catch up with Mafuyu often, and keep on encouraging her to push those boundaries further than she ever thought she could before (this will not always be good advice please use your best judgment still wheeze)

one month later......

Argenti's always been kind of a weird guy as far as Aubrey's concerned? He knows what he's doing in a fight, so tragically he wasn't like, useless or anything, just.......... so.......................... weird................

Ironically she liked working with him better when he was around Fray, too haha. Maybe it's because the Dark Knight absorbed some of the sparkles and petals, thanks Fray you're a real one.

While she was peripherally aware that Argenti ended up with a Palace of his own, she never did figure out much about his actual deal and figured he was fine? If he got extracted from his Palace then that meant there were people looking out for him, plus, you know, he's an adult so what's a kid like her gonna do to help him with his Issues(TM) anyway???

She'll probably run into him every now and then when she pops by to Eorzea to visit Sayaka.

Sayaka, yet another musician who found Aubrey neat for not falling over herself trying to be nice haha. I don't think Aubrey every really understand the depths of everything Sayaka was dealing with purely because like... she predates Sayaka's form of idol culture, much less it being a known Thing Stateside, but after seeing Kirumi's palace she could at least understand holy shit Monokuma sucks ass what do you MEAN they both went through this stupid bear's awful hell??

All that said - it was very cool seeing Sayaka come into her own as a frontline fighter. Honestly Aubrey's only ever been in kiddie brawls up until now, but seeing someone so prim and proper join her in beating the crap out of whatever they were up against with great prejudice was an awesome feeling, and she's really rooting for Sayaka on her journey to become an even more skilled Dark Knight even if Aubrey doesn't really know what all that truly entails either. You got this girl!!

She definitely drops by to visit Sayaka wherever she is every now and then to catch up!!
